Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team in Bastrop, TX. This position provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a key role in helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and achieve optimal physical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities through diagnostic testing and clinical observation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on findings and physician referrals.
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs and use manual therapy techniques.
• Utilize equipment and modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and traction.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan, recovery process, and home exercises.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and professional standards of care.
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend follow-up services when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
• Licensure: Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in inpatient rehab, outpatient, SNF, or acute care.
