The CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists and service-oriented staff . We offer a full complement of imaging services including a 128-slice CT and a wide bore 1.5T MRI. We also offer interventional radiology services, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) which demonstrates our commitment to the safest and best quality care possible.
Summary:
Performs a wide range of routine and emergent MR procedures. Must be capable of working independently, unsupervised in a fast paced setting. Must possess a wide range of technical knowledge. Must be able to make advanced clinical imaging decisions. Must possess good communication skills and meet service excellence standards.
This is a network position and may require assignments at multiple locations.
This position reports to MR Network Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate will competently perform a variety of MRI exams in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents.
Manage department workflow to ensure safe and timely care of all patients.Qualifications/Requirements: ARRT Registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered in MRI within 6 months of hire.
Primary or secondary certification by the ARRT in MRI.
BLS certification required.
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Experience with Siemens, Epic, and McKesson PACS strongly preferred
