Under the general direction and procedural control of the Meter Reader Assistant Manager the employee is responsible for supervising Meter Readers personnel and provides skilled or specialized administrative and coordinating support for the department. Employee plans workflow and frequently uses independent judgment in collecting evaluating trouble-shooting and or completing meter readings and department needs. The employee with the assistance of the Assistant Manager or Manager makes sure that all meters are read according to the set standard operating procedures. Employee is responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate performance of all Meter Readers including data collection and record processing. Employee is responsible for the training of all Meter Readers personnel. The employee has daily contact with public and other departments which requires courtesy tact and diplomacy.
