Job Details
Description Support the safe and efficient movement of company units and equipment. What You’ll Do - Drive and transport company units to and from customer locations
- Periodically relocate units across state lines
- Secure loose tools, equipment, and materials before transport
- Report any damage or concerns to supervisors prior to moving vehicles
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
- Pick up and deliver materials and parts to and from vendors as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring - Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel, including occasional out-of-state trips
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Experience driving large or specialty vehicles preferred (but not required)
- Available to work within 48 hours of driver notification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and employees.
- Self-Motivated
- Preferred: Class B CDL
ADA Requirements - Bend, squat, climb, grasp, twist, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs frequently, or more occasionally.
- Walk, stand, or otherwise move about continuously.
- Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection.
- Frequent travel
