Managing inventory, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and performing administrative tasks like record-keeping and documentation: Core responsibilities: Inventory management: Receiving and unpacking shipments, counting stock, and organizing inventory in the correct locations. Order processing: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for outgoing shipment. Shipping and receiving: Overseeing deliveries, signing for shipments, and updating logs to track inventory flow. Administrative support: Completing paperwork, preparing shipping documents, and entering data into relevant systems. Warehouse maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean and organized, and removing safety hazards. Communication: Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery. Key skills and qualifications: Organizational skills: Ability to organize your time and workload effectively. Attention to detail: Essential for accurate inventory counting, data entry, and order fulfillment. Physical fitness: Must be physically capable of lifting and moving stock, sometimes in large quantities.
