Job Description

We are looking for a versatile Website Developer & Manager with a strong command of HTML and technical writing expertise. This role combines the responsibilities of creating, maintaining, and optimizing a dynamic website, alongside developing clear and comprehensive technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a mix of web development skills and an ability to communicate complex technical information in an easily understandable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Management:

• Develop, update, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement user-friendly layouts and ensure visual consistency.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, accessible, and optimized for performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with websites and web applications, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Oversee website hosting, domain management, and other technical aspects of website maintenance.
• Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to suggest improvements and drive user experience enhancements.

Technical Writing:

• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, system manuals, and release notes.
• Write clear and concise instructions for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring ease of understanding.
• Create and maintain internal documentation for development processes, tools, and technologies.
• Assist with creating API documentation and other technical resources as needed.
• Work closely with product and development teams to gather technical details and translate them into well-organized written content.

Collaboration & Project Management:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and development teams, to ensure alignment on website and content goals.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and any potential delays or challenges.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, balancing the demands of web development and technical writing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Website Developer, Front-End Developer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with website management platforms (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing clear and effective technical documentation.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple and approachable manner.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CMS (Content Management Systems) like WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
• Experience with cloud services and web hosting (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
