Position: Warehouse Operator

Type: Contract

Functional area: Manufacturing

Worksite: Sanborn, NY

Wage: $18/HR

Schedule: 

First Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm x2

Second shift -  Monday - Friday, 10:30am-7pm x2

Job :

E nsures materials are handled safely both physically and in accordance with company standards. Work with supervision and team leads to meet daily warehouse/manufacturing goals.

Key job functions include, but are not limited to: 

• Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
• Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
• Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
• Put away and handling of received material
• Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
• Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns
• Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Good communication skills with co workers
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Manual handling lifting and handling of materials/product both manually and using material handling equipment
• Ability to use material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, Bander (will train)
• At least one year recent MS Office (Windows & Excel)

Preferred Skills:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months of recent related experience 
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Mapics)
• Must be detail oriented and able to pick and pack with accuracy
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day standing or walking
