Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• 13-week contract length with ASAP start date
• Float throughout hospital units including ED, ICU, MSP, L&D, nursery, and outpatient diagnostic center
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
• 1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period
• Minimum 1 year experience required with ventilator, EKG, and ABG experience
• Level 2 Nursery/NICU experience required for low flow vapotherm and assist with intubation or ventilator setup
• Must have completed at least one previous travel contract
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, CRT or RRT, and Illinois RCP license
• MediTech charting experience preferred but not required
• Manage approximately 5 therapies per round plus oxygen management
• Work independently across units with 25 beds each
• Provide respiratory care for COVID patients as needed
• Dress code requires grey scrubs
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• 12 hours non-billable orientation with bi-weekly orientation schedule
