Job Description
Job Title: System Integration Tester
Location: Hybrid Reston, VA or Washington, DC (3 days/week on-site) > Reston is ideal, but DC works
DURATION : 6 months +
Interview Process : 1 TEAMs interview, possibly a 2nd.
Candidate Criteria ( Must-Haves )
- 3+ years of experience in system integration testing or QA
- Experience with tools or similar tools like:
- Selenium
- Postman
- SoapUI
- Jira
- TestRail
- HP ALM
- Basic SQL proficiency ability to write and run queries for data validation
- Knowledge of data validation processes across complex integration layers
- Hands-on experience developing and executing integration test plans and test cases
- Experience performing end-to-end testing across multiple systems
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and SDLC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications ( Nice-to-Haves ) These are not required, but candidates with one or more of the following will be prioritized:
- Basic Salesforce knowledge (e.g., understanding of objects, workflows, or reports)
Day to Day & Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute integration test cases and end-to-end test plans
- Use SQL for querying backend data and validating test results
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and integration points
- Log, track, and manage defects in standard tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)
- Participate in regression, integration, and functional testing cycles
- Document results, test data, and contribute to process improvement
