Professional Structural Engineer

Job brief

We are seeking a detail-focused, knowledgeable, and  professional Structural Engineer  to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in building and designing buildings and be adept with structural engineering processes and standards. Our team of expert structural engineers’ design, analyze, plan, inspect, all kinds of structural components in the field of commercial buildings and large home development sites. We have 2 Korean PE/S.E.

• Foundation for offset conditions.

• Construction joint and control joint layout

• Raised and depressed slabs

• Roof elevation

• Foundation beams

• Geotechnical compliances

• Concrete column encasements

• Structural steel reinforced concrete interfaces

• Beam Services

• Special structural details beam bracing, outriggers etc.

• Site retaining walls.

• Column grids

• Floor and footing elevations

• Elevator machine room slab and pit elevations

Responsibilities

• Develop structural plans and designs, and drawings for other construction personnel to follow.

• Oversee the building and creation of structures and frames.

• Analyze and make changes to ongoing projects as they move onward to ensure the safety of structures being built.

• Work in line with local building codes, considering flooding, fire safety measures, and other variables such as wind tunnels and surface quality.

• Inspect and analyze existing buildings to determine their safety or viability to be made safe again.

• Make recommendations to close or demolish unsafe buildings if deemed unsafe to habitation or a risk to the local community.

• Make plans to renovate listed buildings that may need original restoration work.

• Work in line with health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Experienced in managing and executing design and engineering projects for industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, and chemical plants with steel and concrete structures

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related field

• Demonstrated at  least 3 years’ experience in a structural engineering role .

• Ability to use :  SAP 2000, ETABS, Math CAD, RISA 3D, STAAD.

• Strong ability in drawing, designing, and creating diagrams, blueprints, and drawings.

• Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety guidelines

• Good report writing skills.

• Strong manual dexterity

• Good problem-solving abilities

• Ability to prioritize own time and workload.

Salary :

• Engineer with 3 year experience starting from $100,000

• PE starting from $130,000

• Bonus
