Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Security Specialist Level 4 to support critical national security programs at Buckley AFB. This key position requires extensive Special Access Program (SAP) knowledge and hands-on experience with JADE, SAP nominations, classification management, and physical and personnel security processes. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, a deep understanding of DoD/IC security environments, and a proactive approach to managing complex security responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee SAP security functions, including nomination submissions, education program implementation, and annual reporting
- Utilize JADE for SAP-related activities and ensure compliance with program-specific security requirements
- Perform classification reviews in alignment with Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and RCO policies
- Develop and manage physical security documentation, including Co-Use Agreements and Compartmented Area Checklists
- Provide guidance on personnel, physical, industrial, and operational security across programs
- Direct the activities of other security specialists to ensure alignment with task-specific needs
- Maintain compliance with security policies and best practices in fast-paced, high-security environments

Required Skills - 11–14 years of security experience, including over 5 years within DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) environments
- Deep expertise in SAP security management and experience working with JADE
- Strong understanding of classification management and SCG interpretation
- Demonstrated experience with physical security protocols and documentation
- Ability to lead and direct other security specialists or staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments

- Experience across both government and industry security environments
- Relevant security certifications and knowledge of DoD/IC security tools and methodologies
