We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be observant, detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly and effectively to potential threats or incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior

• Control access to buildings and property by verifying identification and credentials

• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and appropriate manner

• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports

• Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras, radios, and alarms

• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing company policies

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and functioning

• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and company management as needed

• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity

• Enforce rules, regulations, and procedures related to safety and security

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications preferred

• Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role

• Valid security license/guard card (as required by local or state regulations)

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

• Basic computer skills for report writing and use of surveillance systems

• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Professional appearance and demeanor
