Havenwood Assisted Living in Lexington, VA is looking for Medication Aides to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. Applicant must be certified for direct care and have a med aid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to patients in day to day activities
• Med aids will ensure patients receive their proper medication in a timely manner
• Communicate with medical professionals about patients health or issues that may arise
• Serve meals in accordance with dietary needs

Qualifications

• Experience working as a personal care aide or similar field (Certification required)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs
• High attention to detail
