Pay Rate: $1,947 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced Recovery Room (PACU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Cumming, Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality post-anesthesia and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia or surgical procedures.
Monitor vital signs, airway management, and pain control in accordance with clinical protocols.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and physicians to ensure smooth patient transitions.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Recovery Room, PACU, or Acute Care nursing.
Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact State).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
NIHSS certification preferred.
Preferred: Strong Acute Care background and familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols.
