Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care to patients throughout the childbirth process.
The ideal candidate will monitor patient progress, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor patient progress during labor and delivery.
Identify and respond to sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s condition.
Provide regular updates to doctors, patients, and their families.
Administer treatment and monitor medication dosages.
Respond to medical emergencies and alert appropriate healthcare providers.
Care for patients during their recovery in the ICU when necessary.
Complete necessary documentation before patient transfers.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Required Qualifications
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Active RN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AWHONN, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
A minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including expertise in labor and delivery.
Experience with EPIC EMR.
COVID-19 vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications.
Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support , Basic Life Support
