Job Description:
SMBC is seeking a seasoned QA Manual Tester to join its Capital Markets QA team, with a focus on validating Fixed Income Sales & Trading platforms and related risk systems. The role demands in-depth domain knowledge, excellent manual testing skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial workflows within a high-paced front-office environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to fixed income trading workflows
• Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases for trading and risk applications
• Perform end-to-end testing across the trade lifecycle (execution to settlement)
• Validate pricing, risk, and P&L calculations for fixed income instruments
• Log and track defects using JIRA and ensure timely resolution
• Conduct regression, new feature, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and automation engineers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably in capital markets or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and trade lifecycle.
• Experience testing Sales & Trading platforms and/or risk systems.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of front-office trading desks and real-time systems.
