Project Manager – Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Saint Paul, MN | Full-Time | Hybrid Work Flexibility
We’re partnering with a mission-driven, employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm in search of a Senior Civil Engineer to join as a Project Manager in their Saint Paul office. This firm is known for delivering high-impact projects that integrate civil engineering, environmental restoration, green infrastructure, and urban redevelopment to create healthier, more sustainable communities.
This is an opportunity to lead legacy-scale work in park development, renewable energy, ecosystem restoration, and community-focused water and site design.
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will lead and contribute to multidisciplinary teams while bringing creativity, technical excellence, and environmental sensitivity to every project. You’ll have the autonomy to manage complex initiatives, mentor junior staff, and build client relationships in a collaborative and agile work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership: Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of trust and satisfaction.
Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new project opportunities in green infrastructure, park planning, stormwater, and redevelopment sectors.
Project Management: Oversee day-to-day delivery of multidisciplinary projects—scope, schedule, budget, team coordination, and quality control.
Team Development: Mentor and lead junior engineers and technical staff; foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous learning.
Strategic Growth: Support business unit leadership with short- and long-term growth planning, revenue goals, and market positioning.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including leadership of park, green infrastructure, or redevelopment projects
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 6 months
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Excellent technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
Strong analytical thinking and team-building capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits or client meetings

Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 (based on experience and market factors)
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus based on company profitability
