**Job Title:** Podcast Editor

### **Job Overview**
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to manage the post-production of podcast episodes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing audio (and video, if applicable), ensuring high-quality sound, smooth flow, and timely delivery while maintaining the show’s brand and tone.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Edit podcast audio to remove errors, long pauses, filler words, and background noise
* Enhance audio quality through leveling, equalization, and noise reduction
* Add intro/outro, music, ads, and sound effects where required
* Sync and edit video podcasts (if applicable)
* Export episodes in required formats for publishing
* Ensure episodes meet platform standards (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.)
* Collaborate with hosts and producers to incorporate feedback
* Maintain organized project files and meet deadlines consistently
### **Requirements**
* Proven experience editing podcasts or long-form audio content
* Proficiency with audio/video editing tools (e.g., Audition, Pro Tools, GarageBand, Descript, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
* Strong attention to detail and storytelling flow
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple episodes
* Reliable internet connection and availability for remote work
### **Nice to Have**
* Experience with video podcast editing and YouTube optimization
* Knowledge of podcast hosting platforms (Riverside, Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Anchor, etc.)
* Basic understanding of audio branding and sound design
