As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of medications. Shifts will primarily be during daylight/evening hours. *Applicants will be placed into the appropriate job title and salary based on their individual experience and education*

·    Pharmacy Assistant: ($18.49 – $27.76)

·    Pharmacy Technician: ($18.89 – $28.39)

·    Certified Pharmacy Technician: ($19.76 – $29.64)

Responsibilities:

• Repackage, prepare, and label medications, IV solutions, and non-sterile compounds; perform calculations and complete documentation.

• Deliver, transfer, and remove medications across patient care units; ensure pharmacist review before dispensing.

• Handle controlled substances per protocol.

• Respond to phone calls, assist customers, and manage pneumatic tube station.

• Fill and deliver interdepartmental orders; inspect and remove expired or recalled medications.

• Operate pharmacy equipment (e.g., dispensing cabinets, computers, fax machines).

• Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspaces.

• Complete documentation for medication credits, charges, and logs.

• Travel between facilities as needed.

• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other hospital staff.
