May also transport patients to and from appointments at the medical center . **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** + _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ + HS Diploma or general education degree (GED). **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** + Previous working experience in a health care environment. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Strong communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, patients, families; patience and compassion + Ability to lift and position patients properly using best practices + Must be customer focused and be able to promote services in a positive manner + Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions + Ability to work independently, prioritize work, tolerate frequent interruptions and work well under pressure **Job Shift:** Varied **Schedule:** Short Hour **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend, Every Weekend **Benefits:** No **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 8 **Employee Status:** Short Hour Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $29.43 to $35.17 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
