This role involves providing direct patient care to geriatric residents in a long-term care/assisted living facility. The Patient Care Technician assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), coordinates tasks with other staff, and participates in resident orientation. The position requires reliable transportation and adherence to a set schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting geriatric residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
- Scheduling and coordinating tasks for other PCTs.
- Participating in resident orientation.
- Providing input for service/care plans.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- One year of experience working with seniors.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- QuickMAR experience.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required (Wednesday-Sunday evenings).
- Shift is 5 x 8-hour shifts.
- Patient ratios are 1:15-25.
- Facility may call off the employee for up to one shift per pay period.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Open to accommodating block schedules.
- Travelers must have their own transportation.
- Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred.
Scheduling:
- Wednesday-Sunday evenings (5 x 8-hour shifts).
- Block scheduling may be accommodated.
