Part-Time Geauga County Caregiver We are looking for individuals to help care for local elderly clients, one-on-one, in their homes. Most of our elderly clients need help with day-to-day things like grocery shopping, running errands, housekeeping, laundry, preparing meals, and helping them remain as independent as possible, in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Some clients need a little more intimate help with things such as showering and toileting. Every case is different. Hours and clients will be based on your individual availability, skill & comfortable level. Do you have some extra free time? Job Title: Caregiver, Granny Nanny, Elderly BFF... the titles are endless! ;) Location: Geauga County (Middlefield, Burton, Newbury, Chardon, Chesterland, etc) Pay: $15.25 per hour for 4+ hour long shifts, $16.25 per hour for 3 hour long shifts, $17.25 per hour for 2 hour long shifts About Us: We are a locally owned and operated home care agency. Responsibilities: * Spreading smiles wider than a Cheshire cat as you assist clients with their daily activities. * Being the ultimate BFF (Best Friend Forever) to our clients, offering companionship, a listening ear, and endless cups of tea. * Providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and peace of mind. * Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with the utmost sensitivity and respect. * Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a nurturing and reassuring presence. * Channeling your inner Martha Stewart to whip up culinary masterpieces (or at least edible creations) in the kitchen. * Channeling your inner superhero to tackle household chores and errands with finesse (cape optional). * Keeping spirits high with your top-notch joke-telling skills and infectious laughter. * Providing personalized care that would make even Mary Poppins proud. Requirements: * 18 years of age or older. * A valid driver's license & vehicle (to embark on epic grocery store runs and pharmacy adventures). * Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to get to clients' homes. * Ability to pass a criminal background check. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy and understanding. * A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by patients and families at the end of life. * A knack for turning everyday moments into unforgettable memories. * The ability to find humor in even the most challenging situations, because laughter truly is the best medicine. * We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field), empty-nesters, *OR* anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn and become a professional caregiver.
