Job Summary

W e are seeking a dependable and experienced Mine Worker to support operations in a mining environment near Battle Mountain, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, coordination with cross-functional teams, and the ability to work in physically demanding and outdoor conditions.

Job Description

• Coordinate work activities with the maintenance foreman, mine foreman, crusher/jig plant foreman, and other operational staff.
• Report maintenance issues and concerns to the shift boss or foreman for timely scheduling of repairs.
  
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacement as required.
  
• Maintain daily records of maintenance activities and inspections.
  
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
  
• Ensure safe and organized workspaces, including proper tool storage and clean-up duties.
• Shift: 6a m - 6pm

S kills Required

• Perform heavy manual labor including shoveling, sweeping, and tool handling.
• Lift, carry, and manipulate tools and materials.
• Use hand tools and equipment such as jacks, ratchets, chain hoists, and come-alongs.
• Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
• Occasionally work in confined spaces or at heights (on bins, structures, conveyors, etc.).
• Navigate slopes, stairs, and use ropes for support as needed.
• Work a rotating shift schedule, including nights and graveyard shifts.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and part replacement.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with team leads and coworkers.
• Ability to maintain detailed daily maintenance records.
  
• Commitment to safety and environmental best practices.

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $25 per hour and higher depending on experience

Additional Details

• Comply with all applicable regulatory and internal safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Report any unsafe conditions, near-misses, injuries, or property damage to a supervisor.
• Participate in all mandatory HSE training, drills, and performance development activities.
• Actively identify and correct unsafe work practices and conditions.
