You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Air Dominance Program team\. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing detailed designs and layouts of missile structures and subassemblies, driving innovation and excellence in the field\. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Forward Guidance Section \(FGS\) IPT in creating detailed designs, layouts, and drawings for various components and subassemblies\. You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross\-functional teams\. Your responsibilities will include: \* Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub\-assemblies, AURs, and integration test articles \* Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM \* Coordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence \* Managing drawing releases, answering CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews \* Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, and structural/thermal benefits Why Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? As an ideal candidate, you'll have a strong background in hardware design, requirements of flight hardware, and experience with Windchill PLM\. Familiarity with EPL, rapid design, and outside vendors for hardware fabrication build is a plus\. You'll be working on a high\-visibility program, driving innovation and excellence in the field\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
