**Hiring for 1st shift Mechanical Assemblers! Start right away! $18/hr** **Job Description** Join Our Team as a Mechanical Assembler! We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our family-owned company. In this role, you'll work on an assembly line building high-quality cash drawers. No prior experience? That's okay! As long as you're comfortable using hand tools and can work at a fast pace on your feet throughout the day, we'd love to hear from you. We're busy and ready to hire quickly-there are plenty of hours available right now! **Responsibilities** + Assemble cash drawers following process sheets and work instructions. + Use hand tools, drills, screw guns, and basic measurement equipment. + Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and drawings. + Inspect and test completed cash drawers to ensure quality. + Perform a variety of assembly line tasks to keep your workday fresh and engaging. **Essential Skills** + Experience with assembly and mechanical assembly. + Comfortable using hand tools and mechanically inclined. + Ability to read blueprints and interpret diagrams. + 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Ability to work on your feet all day and work overtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive matching contribution plan up to 7.5% of your annual earnings, with automatic enrollment at 3%. The facility is air-conditioned, though temperatures may rise near ovens. It is a tobacco-free property since January 2015, so no smoking or chewing tobacco is allowed on-site. The job involves primarily standing throughout the entire shift, with some stations allowing sitting on a stool. Candidates will rotate assembly positions every 2 hours for variety. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime hours from 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
