Job Summary

Bern’s Steak House is a World-Renowned Restaurant looking for a professional meat cutter to receive, trim, cut, monitor and responsibly store dry aged and fresh meats. Will require use of a saw band, knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing equipment, shelves, coolers and work areas. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Must lift 50-90 lbs in order to move meat from cooler to station  
• Must stand for long periods of time
• Ability to communicate and stay calm under pressure
• Ensure Quality of all Products
• Maintain cleanliness of Station throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to work in an open kitchen with guest tours happening throughout the shift

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting
• Attention to detail  
• Must work well with others
• Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner
• Need to have consideration for guests and maintain a professional demeanor as guests will be touring the kitchen during service
