HVAC Refrigeration Technician (Temp-to-Perm)📍 Greensburg, IN 47240

✅ Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC and Refrigeration maintenance and repair in a facility/plant environment.
· Universal EPA/Refrigerant License required.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to:
• Perform Heating, Cooling, and Exhaust Fan PMs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all HVAC equipment.
• Read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data.
• Use electrical meters, meggers, amp clamps (480V and below systems).
• Cut, thread, weld, and braze mechanical piping.
• Prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.
• Learn and maintain all FAC equipment.
· Experience with HVACR, air compressors, pumps, plumbing maintenance, and basic electrical & mechanical skills.
· Self-starter with strong organizational skills; maintains 5S & COP standards for work areas and tools.
🔧 Responsibilities
· Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all HVACR equipment.
o Start systems, observe operation, read gauges/instruments, and adjust mechanisms.
o Assemble structural/functional components (motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes) using screws, bolts, rivets, welding, and brazing.
o Discuss system malfunctions with users to isolate problems. Install wiring to connect components to power sources.
o Lubricate fans, motors, and control units. Replace defective or worn parts.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVACR equipment as needed.
· Complete PM and work order activity in CMMS following client’s procedures and leadership guidance.
· Respond to equipment downtime quickly and effectively.
