Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will provide essential support for HR functions, including data management, employee onboarding, and candidate assistance. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic HR department. Responsibilities: - Perform accurate data entry and manage the upload of documents into HR systems. - Process employee changes and updates within the organization's HR platforms. - Support new employees by assisting with pre-employment tasks, such as background checks and reference verifications. - Collaborate with candidates to ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and on time. - Maintain and update HR records to ensure compliance and accessibility. - Assist with onboarding processes to provide a seamless transition for new employees. - Address employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters. - Work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies. - Utilize HRIS systems, including UKG Pro and UKG Ready, for data management and reporting. - Conduct reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and suitability. Requirements - Previous experience in human resources, particularly in HR administration and onboarding. - Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as UKG Pro and UKG Ready. - Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data entry and manage documentation effectively. - Familiarity with conducting background checks and reference verifications. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with candidates and team members. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Knowledge of employee relations practices and procedures.
