Key Responsibilities: Work with team on sensor and device installation Execute routine to moderately complex projects with limited supervision Represent instrumentation in a professional and positive manner to internal and external customers, vendors, and stakeholders within the company Assist in educating end users on system setup and requirements and recommend adequate preventive maintenance activities Perform detailed inventory control using Excel spreadsheet Assist with inventory reconciliation and refurbish surplus/unused equipment Perform all related maintenance activities in a manner consistent with department policies and company requirements Work with team on sensor and device installation Work in a team environment, assist in projects requiring software development expertise Minimum Qualifications: BS in electrical or mechanical engineering, H.S. Diploma or GED, an Engineering degree (A.A., B.A., or CST Certification) is highly desirable Must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical/electronics skills Must possess good working knowledge of manufacturing, electronics devices, structural installation of sensors, etc. Must be able to use oscilloscope, waveform generator, multi-meter, impedance analyzer Must be able to use electronic test equipment and be able to read schematics Must posses a good understanding of electrical engineering and electronics, PCB layout, soldering skills Must posses a good understanding of structures or strain gages or other sensor installation on structures Must be able to read, understand, and work from technical manuals and schematics Must possess good technical writing skills and be able to write, review, and revise procedures and product manuals as required Must have good documentation practices Must be a good team player to work in a fast-pacing environment and meet deadlines Computer and basic software/hardware skills required Hardware engineering experience is strongly preferred U.S. Citizenship required
