As a Forklift Driver at IPL you will :

• Utilize a forklift and/or hand-jack to move product throughout the warehouse and to load and unload trucks. 
• Pick and select items to be shipped and check quantities for accuracy. 
• Utilize a handheld scanner for inventory control purposes. 
• Complete customer orders by obtaining product from warehouse stock and deliver to the designated staging area. 
• Apply labels to pallets prepared for shipment where necessary and maintain pick records of items for shipment. 
• Unload delivery vehicles: o Verify delivery quantities by comparing items received to the packing slips 
• Visually inspect for shortages and notify management of discrepancies 
• Move, lift, and carry, delivered items to appropriate areas and stock safely. 
• Always maintain a neat and orderly work area. 
• Always adhere to company safety policies.

What you will bring to the role:

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English
• Ability to safely operate a forklift – certification provided on-site
• Reliability and good attendance is imperative 
• Ability to work from written and verbal instructions 
• Time management, planning, and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to work as a team and maintain good working relationships with co-workers •   Math aptitude – ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide 
• Prior work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
