APX York Sheet Metal is growing and looking for a reliable, hands-on Fabrication Associate to join our production team! If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality work, and want to grow with a company that values hard work and teamwork — we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Deburr metal parts using hand tools and equipment to ensure smooth, safe edges.
- Passivation of stainless steal
- Grind steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts to shine
- Assist with other general fabrication tasks as needed.
- Follow blueprints and work instructions to complete jobs accurately.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person .
- Comfortable using hand tools and operating machinery.
- Ability to read simple blueprints or work instructions.
- Attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Positive attitude, team player, and dependable.
