Are you a detail-oriented professional who’s passionate about helping individuals and families find quality, affordable housing? We’re seeking an Experienced Leasing Consultant to join our dedicated property management team at a well-maintained affordable housing community.

About the Role: In this position, you’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming environment for residents and ensuring compliance with all affordable housing program requirements. You’ll assist applicants through the qualification and leasing process, support resident relations, and help maintain high occupancy and strong community standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist prospective residents, conducting tours and explaining community features and income restrictions
• Accurately process rental applications and verify eligibility according to the affordable program guidelines
• Prepare lease documents while maintaining thorough and organized records
• Assist with annual recertifications and compliance reporting
• Support resident retention and community engagement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to meet leasing goals and compliance deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant, ideally within affordable income restricted housing
• Working knowledge of affordable housing regulations (income restricted)
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Experience using Entrata is preferred
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Must be able to navigate the property for tours and inspections, including walking and climbing stairs
• Moving or lifting items less than 25lbs occasionally
