About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Events Assistant, you will play a vital role in the planning, organization, and execution of a variety of events, ranging from corporate gatherings to community outreach programs. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about event management and who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of events from start to finish.
Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and audio/visual needs.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Help create and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists.
Attend events to assist with on-site coordination and guest management.
Manage guest lists and track RSVPs to ensure accurate attendance records.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with event management software and tools is a plus.
