Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure seamless execution of events. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing floor staff, coordinating with clients, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise floor staff (10 15 team members) to ensure smooth event operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including couples (bride and groom), families, and guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
Oversee event flow, from setup to execution, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain strong communication with vendors, catering, and support teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
Handle unexpected challenges with confidence and provide quick, effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and organizational policies.
Foster a positive team environment by providing guidance, motivation, and support to staff.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2+ year of experience in event management, hospitality, or related supervisory roles.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to manage a team effectively.
Proven ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Preferred
Background in hospitality, events, or catering.
Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends.
