We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Department Physician to join our dedicated team and provide emergent care to the community and surrounding areas of Newton, Kansas. In this role, you’ll serve within our 11-bed Emergency Department , part of a 99-bed hospital located in South Central Kansas. Our emergency room serves approximately 15,000 patients per year , offering the opportunity to practice high-impact medicine in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Providing high-quality emergent care to patients of all ages
Leading patient care efforts in alignment with NMC Health quality initiatives
Collaborating with the care team to ensure comprehensive treatment and smooth transitions of care
Participating in quality and process improvement efforts within the Emergency Department
Three (3) twelve-hour (12) shifts per calendar week
Includes alternating weekends
Education:
Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
Licensure, Registration, or Certification:
Licensed in the State of Kansas by the Board of Healing Arts
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
Experience:
Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
Base Salary: Per Contract
Two- or three-year contract
