Job Description

Title:  Copywriter, Email Marketing. 

Location:  Remote. Open to US or Latin America-based candidates. If based in Latin America, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, and Ecuador are preferred locations. 

Type:  contract basis. Must be able to work 20-40 hours a week.

Language Requirement:  Native English speaker or C2-level proficiency.

We’re looking for a talented  Email Marketing Copywriter  to join our creative team and support a high-profile e-commerce retail project. This role is ideal for someone who loves crafting compelling, on-brand copy that connects with online shoppers and drives engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for email campaigns — including promotional blasts, newsletters, triggered flows, and lifecycle communications — that drive engagement and conversions.
• Collaborate closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to ensure messaging aligns with brand tone and campaign objectives.
• Create and optimize copy for other digital platforms, such as product descriptions, category pages, paid ads, and promotional banners, ensuring consistency across channels.
• Apply email marketing best practices (personalization, segmentation, mobile optimization, and deliverability considerations) to maximize results.
• Adapt and test copy to improve performance, including A/B testing subject lines, CTAs, and messaging variations.
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of copywriting experience with a strong focus on email marketing for e-commerce, retail, or related industries.
• Proven track record in crafting high-converting email campaigns — promotional, lifecycle, newsletters, and triggered flows — while following email best practices.
• Strong portfolio showcasing email and digital marketing copy.
• Attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone across different channels.
• Native-level English or certified C2 proficiency (written and verbal).

Bonus if you have

• Experience with beauty, personal care, or consumer brands.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, ESPs (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and SEO principles.
