About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated person with IT experience to join our team on location in Oakland Park, Florida as an Entry-Level Data Entry & Back-End Developer in a retail/warehouse hybrid setting. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in tech while gaining hands-on experience in both real-time operational and development tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry, Data Scraping:
• Accurately input and update data in internal systems.
• Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with generating reports and maintaining documentation.
• Collaborate with others to ensure data consistency.
• Back-End Development:
• Support the development and maintenance of server-side applications using Microsoft SQL.
• Write and test basic code using languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Assist with database management and API integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug general IT issues.
• Create & implement spreadsheet solutions for multi-platform seamless data streaming.
• Other day-to-day operations:
• Assisting customers and others with orders.
• Assisting with general retail and warehouse operations
• Answering calls, emails, and performing general office duties
• Completing any other tasks and assignments as requested
• Basic level Cyber Security IT functions (creating users, emails, profiles, etc.)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, (excel spreadsheet proficiency is a must).
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL databases and Microsoft Server Environment
• Familiarity with WordPress website and programming language
• Familiarity with Mailcow Email Server Environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to lift 70 pounds frequently when necessary

Preferred Skills:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with Git or version control systems.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL, NCR Counterpoint POS, WordPress, QuickBooks, and other related backend programs and plugins
• Exposure to APIs and connecting cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Interest in learning and growing within a tech-focused role.
• English/Spanish multilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,047.11 - $46,250.28 per year
