Job Description

Salary: $85,150 - 153,925 per year Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant database experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret DoD security clearance.
  • Proven experience in database administration, including the ability to develop and maintain scripts and documentation.
  • Proficient in conducting database backups and recovery processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • In this position, I will have you assist within our dynamic team, primarily focusing on supporting the Air-Vehicle Planning System (APS) for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). Some of your key activities will include:
  • Assisting with database administration tasks such as designing layouts, installations, configurations, upgrades, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance.
  • Developing and maintaining stored procedures, views, tables, and PL/SQL scripts, along with creating associated documentation.
  • Performing data conversion and server migrations.
  • Aiding in database implementation, security, privileges, and regular maintenance activities.
  • Identifying and recommending solutions for technical environment issues.
  • Working both independently and collaboratively with team members.
