The Opportunity
A global consulting and engineering firm is seeking a key system administrator to support and enhance their use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Project Operations . This role is critical for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving best practices, and enabling accurate project accounting, billing, and financial management across the business.
Role Responsibilities (Summary)
Support & Administration: Provide timely end-user support for sales, project management, billing, and accounting within D365 F&O and Project Operations.
SME & Configuration: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project accounting, sales, and collections modules. Administer and configure system settings, workflows, and security roles.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to translate needs into system solutions and reporting tools.
System Integrity: Support month-end close by ensuring timely transaction support, invoices, and revenue recognition. Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements (including UAT and regression testing).
Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain system documentation (SOPs, user guides) and train users on effective system use.
Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and automate tasks.
