Job Title: Contract Recruiter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Recruiter to support our client’s hiring needs during a busy recruitment period. This remote contract role (2 months with the potential for extension), open to candidates located in EST or CST time zones, focuses on high-volume candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified talent.

Compensation:

• $26.66/hour

Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter:

• Review resumes to identify qualified candidates for open positions
• Conduct phone screens to evaluate applicants against role requirements
• Coordinate and conduct interviews with selected candidates
• Assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Leverage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) functionality to maintain accurate and compliant candidate records
• Provide timely updates and clear communication throughout the recruitment process

Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Recruiter:

• 2–3 years of recruiting experience with a focus on prescreening and high-volume hiring
• Proven success recruiting for call center or customer service roles (required)
• Mortgage or loan industry recruitment experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and ability to utilize ATS tools effectively
• Strong communication, organizational, and evaluation skills
