About Us:

Total Appliance is a well-established HVAC company serving South Florida with a focus on keeping residents in condominium buildings cool and comfortable. We have built strong relationships with numerous condo associations, and we're looking for a skilled technician to join our growing team.

The Role:

In this commercial HVAC technician role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of heating and cooling systems in condominium buildings. You'll diagnose and repair a variety of equipment, from cooling towers and pumps to RTUs, split systems, and more. This role offers a variety of tasks, with occasional equipment replacements and installations to keep your skills sharp.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls for repairs in condominium buildings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in commercial HVAC equipment, including cooling towers, pumps, drives, RTUs, and split systems
• Perform repairs on existing equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation
• Occasionally replace and install new HVAC equipment
• Maintain detailed service records
• Collaborate with building management and residents to minimize disruption during repairs
• Prioritize safety procedures and adhere to all company policies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including cooling towers, pumps, drives, RTUs, and split systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with building management and residents
• Valid driver's license
• EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
