Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our healthcare organization in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership and the board. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives. - Provide expert financial insights and recommendations to the board and executive leadership on financial performance and planning. - Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, audits, and compliance activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations. - Manage the organization's budgeting process, including forecasting and financial planning. - Direct capital planning initiatives and evaluate investment opportunities to drive organizational growth. - Act as the primary financial liaison with both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships. - Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration. - Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations. - Drive innovation in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities. Requirements - Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the healthcare sector. - Expertise in financial statement preparation, audits, and compliance standards. - Strong background in managing month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations. - Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Demonstrated success in developing and executing long-term financial strategies. - Proficiency in risk management, capital planning, and investment analysis. - Effective leadership and team-building skills with a focus on mentorship and fostering growth. - Familiarity with leveraging financial technology to improve operational efficiency.
