Join the Slows Bar BQ team as a Catering Delivery Driver! We're looking for individuals who are professional and punctual, embodying the Slows spirit while delivering our delicious food to customers. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that orders reach their destinations safely and on time, while also providing excellent customer service. Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is a plus, as you'll also often assist with catering event setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer orders using company vehicles in a safe, timely manner

• Stay in contact with the Catering Manager throughout the delivery process

• Inspect and accurately assemble catering and delivery orders

• Conduct daily deliveries to our flagship restaurant on Michigan Avenue and our upcoming location in Berkley

• Receive and stock incoming shipments correctly

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance to keep the delivery vehicles in good condition

• Assist with kitchen prep tasks between deliveries

• Help out with off-site vending as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of delivery driver experience
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proof of car insurance
• Excellent customer service skills and experience with cash handling
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to consistently lift up to 70 pounds

• Comfortable with bending, twisting, and grasping to move large items

• Able to read and utilize GPS for navigation

• Experience sitting in confined spaces during driving
