Weâre looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience to support a fast-growing, multi-location distribution company. This role will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing ERP-driven process improvements across departments including Purchasing, Sales, and Operations , and providing strong daily user support. Experience with Wireless Warehouse for P21 is a significant plus. You must be self-driven, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) , ensuring the ERP supports business needs across all departments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, particularly in the areas of Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Inventory Management .
Provide day-to-day end-user support and training for over 200 users across 40 locations.
Lead or participate in the configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements and integrations, including Wireless Warehouse .
Analyze current and future business processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to improve performance and scalability.
Develop and execute test plans and user acceptance testing for ERP changes and upgrades.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications; work closely with developers and vendors as needed.
Maintain detailed documentation including SOPs, functional workflows, and training materials.
Support reporting and analytics initiatives using tools like SQL and Power BI.
Manage or support projects using established project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Required:
2+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP .
Experience supporting key business functions: Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse Management .
Proven experience in a Business Analyst or ERP Analyst role with a distribution or multi-location business.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams, stakeholders, and end users.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including process documentation and workflow mapping.
Ability to write SQL queries and create simple reports or dashboards.
Preferred:
Experience with Wireless Warehouse for P21 .
3+ years of overall IT/business analyst experience.
Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools.
Bachelorâs degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
