We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects. **Job Summary** Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Regional Mechanical Division. In this role you will be tasked to assist in pre-plan and managing construction projects utilizing company resources. \#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-Onsite **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Reporting to a Project Manager + Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs + Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and project proposals + Work with Labor Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out + Communicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedule and scope + Promote and enforce a safe working environment + Satisfy customers' needs to develop repeat business + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders. + Ability to order, track, and expedite for timely delivery of MEP and specialty items required for the project. + Excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms. + Self-motivated, working under minimal supervision. + Customer oriented. + Team player with the ability to motivate others. + Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills + Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required **Equal Opportunity Employer** As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
