Part-Time After School Nanny – Lincoln Park, Chicago
A warm Lincoln Park family is seeking a reliable and engaging part-time nanny to provide after school care for two boys (ages 10 & 5). The weekly schedule needed is 2:45-6pm Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday. Some flexibility on end time a plus.
The ideal candidate is an open communicator who works well with mom and dad. Someone who is proactive, energetic and able yo keep kids positively engaged. A personal vehicle desired, but not a deal breaker. A clean driving record a must if driving.Start Date: Around October 1 (flexible—whenever we find the right fit)
Commitment: Ideally through the school year (until June 4, 2026), with the option to continue into summer and the next school year (schedule TBD)
Responsibilities:
School pickups and safe transportation to/from activities
Snack prep and homework support
Engaging the kids in play and activities (not just screen time)
Light tidying and helping keep the home organized
